Have you checked for any BIOS updates on the netbook? With it having integrated graphics, there maybe a fix for the issue in a BIOS update? Certainly worth checking first. D.

I would only downgrade if you were either 110% commited to the step-down. Or, that you had no alternative. If you tend to stay at your parents, then keep it. If you're intended to save up for a place of your own, then commit to a downgrade - maybe even curb the amount of track days you do...

Heheh - I don't do 'annoying' games. Sure, challenging, difficult and sometimes awkward ones are all fine - but 'annoying' ones I stay clear of. Playing a game is meant to be relaxing - not something that makes you want to put your fist through the screen because of it. :) D.

Mine does it after a decentish journey length and in hot weather. It never creaks during the winter. I've often wondered if the LHD version of the RS Clio suffers from the same problem - what with the clutch linkage being much closer to the pedal? D.

That one is a fecker! Some of my faves include the Radical SR4 252bhp version and the Fiat Abarth from GTL. That thing is brilliant around Brands - you hardly have to back off and attack most corners in a long, drawn out drift. :) Perhaps the car of the 'big hitters' that I feel most in control...
