That's fucked mate. You can either live with it or bite the bullet and put a new roof on it. Sadly, the roof is a massive flexible panel and the filler will not like moving, hence the cracking.

Take a big pack of thick cable ties. If it's the cars first hiding on track, you can guarantee something will break.
