Sweet, have you seen the *cough* Max Power/Haynes Clio? They used RSI seats and retrimmed them in cream and black to match the dashboard. Its looked great TBH. Orange and cream would clash IMO. Orange and black maybe?

You need lowering springs to lower the front. The back has just a torsion bar. There a guide here somewhere if you want to do it yourself.
