Considered that one when doing my research, you can't IIRC change the backing plate to run different pad sizes, (4 inch spot pads are a must on a Clio IMO) and have as much speed control.
Ages since I brought mine, but a PC with a pad set, transformer and extension cable and plug runs nearer to the 150 quid plus mark IIRC. Really with polishes enough pads etc its more like a £200 quid outlay.
It's nice to hear from a cup boy ;) it's well worth having it for those 2 days a year it is warm ;)
donofkarma, sod the petrol costs, who cares! Do you think that each time you nail the throttle?
Oms how cold does that bad boy keep stuff?
The additional attenna for the RA2 was needed here to, in order to get it to perform as well as in does in a normal screened car.
Mines sat next to the rear shelf.
Thats the way Hot Hatches should be small and light , unlike the lardy 197 which has a side profile is a lot more nasty looking than the outgoing models shape ( maybe it will grow on everybody or stay love hate like the Megane ? ) None of the RenaultSport range have ever been that great looking...
Whatever Glass cleaner Spray I have and a couple MF towels here, one towel to remove the spray and another clean towel to give a final wipe after, not a fan of the AG polish in the interior of the car, as it stinks!

P21s will give a deeper richer look.
Personally if I want to use just...
Quick Detail Spray removes any water marks and restores a nice slick finish after washing without the need to re-wax. Alos increases the life/durability of the wax on your car.
They are lots out there, the Meguiars one can be brought from Halfords.
Mail order wise look into Clearkote...
Had the toyo T1-s on my 205 GTi great in the dry but shocking in the wet even when not pushing on. If you dont want to go all the way up to PE2 money, Good Year F1's are the next best thing.
The full on clean is a once a year thing.
For me.
Clay once a year.
Proper deep clean and polish once every 6 months.
Re apply Sealant every 3 months.
Glaze and Wax as needed.
Weekly wash and Quick Detail Spray, Clean Glass, Wheels etc, Wipe down interior.
In the same way as a standard 1.9 GTi is more like 122-127 brake at the fly.
If you can find me a standard 1.9 that goes as well as a 172 Cup pass me the details as I would love to buy it!
