Got mine done at a garage, did the water pump a while ago with my uncle, its a pig, anything to do with the belts will get done at a garage in the future. Couldn't the battery light still come on if the another pully's bearings have gone and have altered the belts tension on the alternator...

Around £250 for a recon alternator fitted, not so bad tbh...

Wow, insurance has gone up this year. Mine is due and have been looking for quotes. Cheapest I have got is just over £1500 tpft or just under £1700 fc. Both through brentacre, with a 200bhp limit. Only paid £1300 last year when i was 19/1ncb :(

I got rid of my bold this time last year for a 3gs, best move ever. As a business phone it was excellent, infact I would quite like one for work. But apart from BBM, as a personal 'social' phone they are shite. The lack of decent UK apps was the thing that toppled me over the edge with it.
