Man, if I could get some of those off you, I would happily pay!
Having used various cards and dongles from Edinburgh, through Birmingham and down at Hemel Hempstead - oh, and South Wales too - I can clearly state that they all smoke the length of a camel's schlong. Utterly pointless and shat...
Thinking of getting the 8-piece poly bush kit from K-Tec when my car goes in for its 72k service. Are there any other bushes or joints I should look at replacing while these are being done? Track-rod ends, etc?
I would like to get the handling virginally new again. ;)
Cheers,
D.
Sounds almost as bad as when a Vaio laptop here (yes, I know - insidious, awful things :)) had a CPU failure a few years back.
The official CPU replacement through Sony knocked on the door of £600 as the laptop itself was outside of warranty. When we said that various vendors still had the...
Why would someone be talking crap? Is that crap because their tastes look beyond Forza, FIFA or MW2 - the latter of which will be out on PC anyway?
The two issues that anyone who's vaguely interested in games has with PCs are - 1. The cost and 2. The mess.
The cost issue is self-explanatory...
If you want (and can) spend the money - the PC is the way to go.
Consoles look good. But watch a PC that costs five times as much and your jaw will drop ;). The endless scope of PCs is what keeps me interested. From editing sound files, to burning CD/DVDs, playing games, doing a 'bit' of work...
Have you got a G25 to go with it as well, m8? The GT Legends cars are great alternative add-ons. You simply can't throw them about like the standard Race'07 motors. :)
There's also a mod to port across all the GTR2 cars (inc. Porsche GT2, Ferrari 575, Lambo, etc) into Race'07 - but I think...
Heheh! You're not wrong there! My nephew swears by his clapped-out old PC that barely has enough umph to run GTR Evo, but plugs in his G25 and sticks with it anyway. All the while, his array of consoles including Wii's and a PS3 sit on the shelf gathering dust.....
Hopefully at some point in...
Great pics, Dawn! Good to see that although this Vee gets pampered, it's not couped-up in some garage and still actually gets driven on some decent roads!
I've never really understood those people who take things to the extreme and have a rare car from like 1987 with about 200 miles on the...
Just found out Chris's secret. Apparently he's kicked the windscreen out from his Man's Cup, replaced it with the TV and connected his 360 to the steering coloumn and pedals.
Seems to have worked for him anyway..... ;)

I so love the modders of the PC community at times! :approve:
One of the German fans with the assistance of other GTL & Race'07 players has managed to combine the best of both - taking the cars from the earlier game and transplanting them for us to drive in Race'07.
Naturally this makes the...
Exactly. You could play it safe and stick with what's deemed as being 'right'. I love 911's - and given the opportunity to own one, I most certainly would.
But the NSX would generate discussion, it would interest people, and it would attract petrolheads for sure. Pull up into petrol station in...
I've not changed the gearbox oil myself on mine, but it has been done three times in its 62k life. I think it's worth changing more regularly than is recommended - it certainly can't do any harm. :)

I actually feel a bit sorry for the PS3 owners. It's almost like Groundhog Day, with each passing day feeling like the 24th December. Again. And again.
I'm still baffled in a lot of ways why Prologue was actually released? It seems to have drawn more criticism and questions than if they had...
The CSL looked epic, Rob - I've had a thing for them since Jeremy Clarkson drove one on TG.
But an NSX? I have to say that that's muchos respect from me if you do go for that. I have seen but a handful - ever and I love the fact that it's something other than the norm such as a 911, etc...
Ah, nice one. :) Was at my brother-in-laws, sorting out the nephew's PC (shat Vista - lol!). We don't live too far from there actually, but I CBA walking! ;)

Re: O2 Forever ?
O2 has been fine for me - I've been with them since 1998, back in the days of BT Cellnet.
Each and every person has their own views on different networks. Personally, I think they are all as good and as bad as each other. A bit like comparing which petrol station forecourt...
