Yep, expensive indeed. Just flexis, gearbox really. Then make sure you do all your normal checks, check on belt history etc.

Some of the early 2007 models had a dodgy gearbox where the synchromesh fails afaik and need replacing. If you opt for the 197, when test driving it, get your revs about 5000rpm in 3rd gear and then change to 4th to see if there is any crunching. Mines an early 2007 and my gearbox is spot on -...

Yeah, there's a couple of issues with a 197. Exhaust flexis, mpg & gearbox. Same with any cars however, they all have their pros and cons.

My 197 MPG flutters between 19MPG & 24MPG.

Isn't there x amount of time you have to report it to insurers? Letter would long it out. Just pop over there.

If you're 21+, been driving for 2 years, speak to @Neil@greenlight in regards to insuring you on a 197/200. 197's can be had cheap enough but it may just be the insurance that stings you.
