Light dust you should be ok with a Quick Detail Spray or even better a waterless wash type detail spray like Poorboys Spray and wipe. Anything more I would not risk it and just wash.

Much easier products on and off, and with better durability. The fact it is not a pure wax means it is no good over ther top of sealants either.

Megs 83, Poorboys SSR 2.5, or Menzerna Intensive Polish shouid all have enough bite. The I.P will work best but the SSR 2.5 will be the easist to use. Some have removed wet sanding marks just with Scratch X by hand.

The flys aint too bad, its the layer of Silverstone car park dust that is the main issue!

With the 350D in AI Servo mode, you need to follow the car for at least a second or so with the shutter half depressed so it can pick up on and track the car. From today I found that being smooth is key when tracking the car, panning and shooting. That said, my better pans today where at 1/200...

Re: 197 colurs I would probably go for Black again. THough after sitting in it and having a good look today I dont think I will be getting one. The Albi blue is not a bad colour though.

Going for a 300mm prime next after today, with the 1.4 extender will be 420mm, plus the 1.6 factor of the body - 672 mm!!!! Dave182 borrowed and had 50-500mm Sigma today! I did some full car shots of the petrol blue but the sun was so low the came out pants.

Cheers Chris. No unfortunatley - right at the top almost of the Luffeild C grandstand. Only had 280mm (70 - 200mm with 1.4 extender) reach and it was far to short, so lots of cropping needed!

280 mm was to short, but some where ok once cropped, in focus and with movement!
