How is your customer going with the pure screw in ones?
Also how can they be incorrectly installed, seen this guide looks simple!

Go to halfords and make a big fuss, they might give you some free paint to shut you up, its their fault afterall.
I have made a fuss in halfords before and after about 45 minutes, 3 members of staff and a manager i got my own way :) (i was the worlds worst customer that day lol, was in a rare...
So are you just running studs on the front then?
I have only been having bolt issues on the front, but would like stud all round to aid changing wheels.
I emailed pure about the kits, they said they have a new kit coming out soon which is better for track, will cost £150, i am waiting for...
Fair point i suppose, being young i probably dont appreciate that lol
What stage is the valver at now? What has been done so far? Pm me if you want, saves the thread getting messy :)
I have just put the half of my rear interior i took out back in, took it out to fit wheels/jack/general crap in the back and couldn't be bothered putting it back in until the other day. Like a new car now, so refined and nice to be in.
Saturday morning :)
Easier if I just get it all done at a garage tbh, eventually i'll have to learn how to do it myself but not just yet lol
What I have gone for, except its ferodo fluid.
Pointless post really since you have already made a decision...
Might aswell continue with this one imo, you can get something different later but you have already invested in this.
I'd also get ITB's rather than the JMS kit, JMS kit in my mind is more aimed at daily drivers which want to keep...
Booked it in, just want it done now. Just been out in it and something is very wrong atm, i am guessing fluid...
I did google them, but couldnt even find them fo sale :S
Just finding somewhere to fit, for whats being done £75 doesn't seem too bad to me but dont know the going rate and my local garage didn't asnwer when i rang earlier.
Looked at the 4pots, probably more than I wanted to spend but an option if some came up used!
If I go for the braided/HC/2500 option is it worth going to Jamsport for the deal? Would cost me £340 for it all fitted and flushed including the petrol down there and back. Just thinking if i get a...
Get it properly aligned. Amazing how much a car can be out without you even noticeing.
After I got mine done last week a colleague took his disco 3 to get it aligned. He said it seemed ok alignment wise before but wanted it checking now its 5 years old and it was out of the tolerences on...
Going back to the ones in my OP, would I have to torque these into the hub more than I torque the nuts, well to me that seems an obvious yes?
I currently on track torque bolts up to 110Nm, presume that nuts would be torqued to the same so the studs would need to be done further? How much...
I'm hearing this, it looks the option everyone chooses. Just the CL brakes are supposed to be better, not much good if they fall apart though lol.
The filing of the pads worries me too, if the garage doesn't file them enough and they expand when hot i'll be fucked!
Heard the mintex suffer...
I am flexible on budget tbh, its an important part of the car afterall. What you spent is probably what i'm looking at.
I dont know much about them tbh, just what I read on here. Will be getting a garage to do the work.
So I have been searching and there is loads of info about brake options for the clio, lots of contradicting opinion but no one seems to have my requirements so here goes with another...
Changed my front discs and pads all round at the start of the year for OEM stuff. Never thought about...
Anyone fancy this?
Its just a pub meet but should be a good selection of cars there, apparently they are bringing a gordini twingo demonstrator too.
Its pretty central to most on here
THE SWAN & CYGNET, Denby Dale Road, Wakefield, WF2 7BW
Meeting around 7:30/8ish
:)
Talked about it with another member at the weekend and we reckon a mass pm should go around, most wont be looking just yet since its over a month away...
