As Sy said Sarah - have you tried your own company?
There seems to be plenty of companies out there that offer such services though...

Never used them, so I don't know if they are any good!

Lol! The inner workings of the Mormons or the Cosa Nostra are more logical, straight-forward and predictable than insurance companies. I think they do that on purpose though. If it was easy for Joe Public to calculate on factors A, B and C, then anyone could work it out. Surely?
Their 'theory'...
Welcome Scott - whereabouts in Oz are you?
I bought the Mk3 badging for mine - does look better, imo. I think Renault themselves would supply it to you? Approx £20-£25?

Unfortunately m8, its happening everywhere. Spotted this last week...

...and a high-ish risk car such as an RS just causes the insurers to panic a bit and start to add £ to the premium...
As I've said on numerous threads, his age will go against him, but the postcode will have a massive effect on it too.
Tbf, the quote he got originally is very good for his age, considering the type of car that the 172 is. I was paying that on the 182 just 2 years ago and I'm 33. Nil points...
ROFL! I do think that black gold it cursed from the outset though. I thought I did a good job in polishing it the last time, until I opened up the driver's door and saw the black gold door pillar inside.
The difference was amazing. It looked really, really well on the pillar - clearly being...
Lol - only when we opened 'em up, eh? ;)
Lost track of the number of coaches and trucks that passed us. At least Mossy was doing his bit for Vee Owner-Truck Driver liasions. :)

^^^ - as it's you doing the hijack, I'll let you off! ;) Looks stunning as well.
How's life post B/G 182? Have you got any of the Pug posted up yet? Is the paint quality better/worse on the other Frenchie?

Jain gave her Vee a bit of polishing love, the night before FCS. Not that it mattered by the time we got down there as it was full of crap again!
Anyways, I've been indifferent to how EGP is on my car. It looked good on black gold, but never that good imo.
With not a great deal of effort...
This always intrigues me when driving different cars and whether or not this actually matters at all to me? I did a round trip (again) today from Blackburn to Wirral and back, in a works Mazda 6 TDi. It's miles more comfier than my 182, coasts along on the motorway with hardly any effort and has...
Good vid m8 - track seemed really smooth and seemingly quite wide. Was the wind a problem with the car? I noticed quite a few drivers getting very close to the wall at turn 1 (?) - I was just hoping that the wind wouldn't drag them into the concrete!
D.
Lol! Sorry Glenn - I didn't think you were on here! :o
Was it looking good in the sun? Matt's looked stunning at FCS with the bit of elbow grease he rubbed on it.

That petrol blue 182 looks bland on here? Nothing like it does with my own eyes - truly gorgeous colour that. And rare!
As usual, the Yellow Sub looks like you could serve it with a dollop of ice cream and eat it!

I had the usual gander at your car Chris - average as per usual. ;)
I think in my Top 3 of CS cars (in no order) - yours is there, along with that white RS and of course - Middos.
All look the nads in their own way. :approve:

Was your's the black Meg with the Salford sticker on the bonnet? Looked at that and it made me laugh - nice touch. :)
Good pics Lee - good to see you again, if only briefly! The V6 mob wanted to get going...

A flamer comment - but I cannot believe how much better the white 197 looks with the spoiler on the back. It literally transforms the rear from a mundane, plain and fat-ass hatch in to something that looks good.
It's weird - as an optical illusion, it almost appears to lower the car a bit as...
