Just spent my dinner-hour munching food and reading through this thread. Such a great read! That block looks so clean and pristine after the paint job, it's almost a shame to get it dirty again - lol!
Great work Chris - keep us all informed as to any updates. :)
Also, that Corsa looks none...
Agree. Rapid little feckers. Get ITBs on there and they are bonkers. And then there's the sound at full chat too... :approve:
Few small cars have ever sounded so good!

I doubt this would work as he's using .msg format, but it maybe worth a try? Easy and free. :)

Thought the clip had been speeded up at first - how rapid are those!
Great car control there. CC looks to be a flat track - does it have much/any elevation to it?

All those extras you mention are standard fit on a full fat 182, m8. However, the liquid yellow paint job was a £1,200 option when the car was new. Sounds a good purchase. Even better if it had its auxiliary belt done around the 36k mark.
Does look a stunning colour in late afternoon/early...
It will handle like turd and there are FAR more cars I've have for that price.
But come on guys. If you took that to anywhere that knew what it was (i.e. the States or outside Matt Black's house) - you would feel like the fucnkin' Daddy driving that.
I'd have it - but not at that price...
Good pics!
What camera were you using? That pic 'DSC_0204' has loads of detail. Sun flare, bright pavement, but with still a lot of detail on the buildings in the background.

Almost worth it for that alone, imo. Last one I heard was a yellow 106GTi hooning it up a dual-carriageway. Sounded brilliant - and didn't half shift. :)

Ah. Probably still is H in his 182, with his fake plates on, having just come back from having a No.1 all over?
Stranger things have happened..... ;)

ROFL!!! WTF?!
And don't lie about your 'goals' of the Japan trip. I bet there's a pre-booked container all padded with cotton-wool - just waiting to accomodate a DC5.
Or something just as good! ;)

:star: - this thread just gets better!
Imagine trying to convince some yoofs of today of the virtues in that ^^^^.
"Son, these were all the rage when your mum was being serviced by two lads for a pack of Embassy and half a bag of chips..."
I've never quite understood the fact that a lot...
Whoa! ^^^^^ - that looks amazing. Love the pillar-less look with the windows down. :approve:
Dread to think what a minter like that would cost to buy & maintain properly.

What's the year on that 6? 1999 or something? Nearly ten years old and yet I would happily buy that before any of the current Pug range - even if they were the same value.
Where did Peugeot go wrong? The GTi-6 and Rallye (a 106 especially) are still on my list of cars that I'd love to have a...
They were indeed m8. I honestly would say that for the most part, I would have preferred to drive my 182 than a V6 up there.
The lack of instant low-down torque is the 182's biggest issue - especially coming out of a corner and even more so on an incline. It just cannot compete with a Vee on...
That is exactly the reason why I want them. Especially as we live on an unadopted highway and there's friggin horse-s**t everywhere.
Bleedin glue-sticks.
