Hi James - nice looking motor!
I was looking for a 172 Cup, before stumping up the extra and buying my 182 from new, back in 2004. I've had a soft spot for them ever since - especially as Chris (Chris 'n Nic on here) has let me have a go in his car a few times. Makes my 182 feel heavy, sluggish...
It does the exact same on the 182's as well. And as others, gets noticably worse when the weather gets warmer.
I think its time the car gets on the stands again for a proper look. Probably having the clutch cable travel halfway around the engine bay on the right-hookers, doesn't help things...
ROFL!!!!
Now that would be telling!!! :rasp:
Seriously though - I spent a total of over 7 hours last weekend PC'ing my 182. Now I look at it and think why do I bother? Just looking at black gold paint brings out the swirls and scratches.....

From the OP's original requirements - Mac definitely.
Being a PC-man, I'm really wary of Vista at the moment, even though I run it at home. I fail to see any benefit that it brings over Windows XP - especially on the gaming front. It will happen, but certainly not now.
I'm all for change and...
Well, it beats the normal motors they have up for grabs on radio stations. Heard a bit on Imagine FM this morning (based out of Stockport, I think?) and they have the competition open until midday on Friday.
*edit*
POTENTIAL SCAM! Read the thread...
Did you? Nice - I've rarely seen one of those. Like you say, it looks mint on the dark alloys with red GT badging.
Followed one the other day with a few lads in it. It was a broom yellow one (what else?) but I was in a works Mondeo at the time. Would have loved it if they had taken the bait if...
Now then. That looks really, really smart. I'd be very happy owning that. :approve:
I think it needs a little something on the boot though - it's just too bland on its own.
You could always confuse the hell out of people an put a CS sticker on there - lol!
Do they do any form of boot...
Mine was an Elonex PC too - back in November '92.
Came with a 486SX-25 CPU onboard with 2MB memory, 52MB HDD and a Cirrus Logic 1MB graphics card about the same size as a surfboard - lol.
I upgraded it over time with a 486DX-33, 4MB of memory in total and a SoundBlaster 16ASP sound card...
+1 :approve:
Either that or ditch the centre caps and get the bolts done orange?
The front bonnet rubber 'strip' needs straightening up too. Looks like its off in a few places?

Lol! Yesterday, afternoon
You pulled out of the petrol station bit in a mint looking arctic blue 182, complete with private plate and clearly a lot of cleaning TLC lavished upon it.
Gave you a flash and a wave as I pulled alongside - to a complete bemused expression.
Ah well, clearly it...
