Itg Panel filter

I have an Itg panel filter in my clio. Its been in for a bit now and it probably needs a clean, what is best to clean it with and where from ? do i stick with a itg cleaning kit or doesnt it matter?

Don't take my word for it, but not sure if you need to clean these for ages?

Oh thats ok then but its been in my car for about a year i think. I have never cleaned it so thought i would ask
Cant find anything on the net about a cleaning kit for one

i'd leave it, they have some strange very thick sticky filtration fluid that imo would be upset if it was cleaned

Think they last 50K + miles without a clean Vicky. Mines been in for nearly 3 years!

Ohh thats ok then, yes it had very sticky stuff on when it was fitted. Its been on just about a year i think thanks for your help
