I would wash the car.
Use some Autoglym Tar Remover on the tar off the car, and then clay.
After this the paintwork should all feel smooth.
Scratch X to the whole car by hand will be hard work but worth it. hen follow up thre Scratch X with a good mild polish like Autoglym Super Resin before...
So the the Laptop works when its right next to the router? Move it away and there is no signal. Is there any setting for how much of a range (signal strength) is on the router?
Have you ran the airport set up assistant on your mac?

How much would I be looking at for 4 wheels, already stripped & blasted and ready to prime and paint?
I would get both too.
I would use the OCW after a wash, and then every second or third wash top top it with P21s aswell.
Edit saying that the OCW on silver here came up so well just with wash, you may not need it after every wash though.
As above, would be gutted if I got a really good shot and was shooting in a lower res mode. Buy an extra card and use the camera to its full potential.
Go for whichever you can find the best example of. I would like a Williams but know I would spend forever and a day looking for one that I was happy with.
Paint does seem to mark and chip easily.
It is not soft though, with a machine polisher it takes a fair bit of welly to remove any defects. Its also fairly thick compared to what some manufactuers put on aswell going by readings that people have taken to measure thickness.
