As others said if its the Halfords supplied Zymol on its a cheap cleaner wax, that will remove anything you put below it. I would use the AG SRP and it cleans up the paint nicely, very mild anyway so wont touch any defects much that are there an anyway. By normal hand applictaton Brazo tested...

Exactly if you have been quoted wash, clay, machine polish and sealant or wax that's a good days work.

Paint shape - Paint condition, how much polishing its going to need to take the swirls out.

All depends on the shape of the paint, and time taken. Around £50 here but can go either way depending on condition. If it only took me 2 hours for example it would be more like £30 quid. What process and how many stages have you been quoted on?
