Have you tried grounding the battery to some exposed metal under the engine bay with a jump lead. Just to check you have a good ground, was a problem on my old clio, just bought some new straps and fitted them.

Then just buy it in the month it starts from, for example buy 2nd Feb, you just lose a days tax.

30th/31st i think, so just 30th as 31st is a Sunday Different as you already have tax, they dont want people with out tax getting it too far in advance as there is more risk of people driving it early and displaying the not yet valid disc.

Brave man, mine was fine when i got it the other day. Do you find it less 'raspy' than the youtube vids (even the ones with cats)? I do which is a bit disappointing tbh, wonder if they changed the design recently.

Thought you could fit any minolta on there, giving a huge back catalogue of lens' to choose from. Saying that so did my Samsung and the selection was still poor and expensive for decent stuff.
