what £1K to buy the diff, then what £300 to rebuild the box and £300 labour to remove/refit it plus a possible clutch change whilst you're at it you're knocking on for £2K unless you're doing it DIY (good luck rebuilding the box if you are!)

a std 172 cup Vs a teg???? 172 everytime, you don't need an LSD, i ran a 240bhp NA 172 cup with a standard box and it pretty much wasted most stuff round track ABS is for gays LSD isn't needed

^ooh its nice up there, haven't been for years the old wizz bang 1.2 16V engine will be fine until 5years, i changed mine at 60K, but that was mainly because the water pump was leaking through the bearing (very common, i suggest you change the water pump also)
