well mines is just over the meter long mark and unlike the Mk2s the 12v port is at your arse and the dash is longer too so bit more of a stretch to get the the window...I like to have the cable hidden away :)

rather it was the charger as choppin end off and hard wiring it into the 12v port at the handbreak, Might be able to wire it in at the Fuse box under a spare way if theres any :/ but thats gonna be what ever voltage comes out the battery so will no doubt be no good.

had a look and there all the standard ones, will have to see if i can make do with it for now

It isnt too bad just slight dimples on it, after wetflatin the prime give it another coat of go from there with the colour ??? Im not looking to match my car colour just looking to get a nice bright white, something similar to the 197 Cup white.

Wheres the best place to get the Paint ?? went into halford but all the whites look more like cream :/ Kind of sand papaer i take it wet n dry but what grade ?

Im looking to spray the end badges on the side stips of the car in white but befoer i go ahead with it i have a couple of questions.... Do i need to prep it ie sand it down so its a rough surface then apply primer sand it down again to get the high spots out then prime again ?? Or just go...

Id asume ud be best to replce the gasket, i think there is a bit of flexi on the bend of the manifold. Pop your head under and take a look see if you can see it. Dont take my word for it
