Yup iv i had folk in the back it would rubb over bumps and rubbed on full lock but the wheels were 205 wide and Ph1s dont have the widest of Arches

My old bus lowered 40mm on Apex springs (rather bouncy but alot less boddy roll) they hadent settled yet but in the end the arches were just above the tyres....there 16" 182 wheels if you didnt know...

You can do that but take not of + n - you may also have to add a bit of cable to the lenght your left with to give you enough to play with when connecting

Cant see there being much diffrence in the arches of a 197 and a standard Mk3

there close but not close enough to cause problems if i remember right...

I had to use 10mm spacers on my rears but i had it lowered 40mm rubbed on full lock at the front too... Springs were just on settled alot lower....
