We thought it was cheap, was going to change both rears for the sake of a tenner but obviously not now.
I managed to get a proper price for them tonight, at about 5:45, only dealer that had parts department open was east london mind :D
Well i bought the car today, budgeting for the sensor but the guy wouldn't budge much on price since it was already pretty cheap. But then again i'm taking a risk by relying on his word that it is just a sensor when he had it on the computer.
Now a proud owner of a RB 182, well when i pick it...
If the rear drivers side ABS sensor needs replacing would it bring both the abs and TC lights on?
Also, if i replace the sensor will a snap on ecu reader (the big expensive version) switch the light off or is it a renault job?
I now need to make a public apology to the seller :D
He rang me back today to follow it up, which is reasonable since it was well after 6 last night when i rang him and he was somewhat busy :p
Nice to hear your enjoying it.
Its a brave move from german/jap to french, i haven't left french yet with any of my cars since i fear i wont come back :p
Nah, our work 0800 phone calls are free, i had to call up flux to change my bike insurance a couple of months ago and decided to do it in the van while i was stuck in traffic on the work phone.
Then at the end of the month i logged on to see how much it cost me, so i can put it into sap like a...
Thats what i was thinking :p
Cant be that much difference, plus if i can get it for £4k then i have some spare cash to buy other things, or maybe even save up!
You know, they are so common now i dont even notice them :p
Might go have a butchers at this instead, lower mileage and seems in nicer condition, only con is its a 172 but it has the all important cruise control that i want.

What other things dont you like, out of interest. I noticed the tacky 182 badge on the back if thats one.
On their website it has a bit of a description and a pdf available, but its all just standard spec stuff...
Still are free on our work phones from orange, but not my personal phone on orange.
Strange that, but useful since i can just use the work phone when i need to ring 0800's.
Oh dear,
By me its muffins at toyota, donuts at BMW, caramalised biscuits at VW and a bit of grotty old coffee in a small plastic cup at renault :rasp:
I admit i was over the top with my reaction, just the way he said it annoyed me.
I shouldn't of said anything, I'm just pissed off from not getting anywhere when i am shopping for cars.
It wouldn't be such a bad thing if this thread got deleted :rasp:
We have found toyota dealers to be excellent too with my mums Aygo, and any warranty work has been dealt with very well. Not to mention the free muffins everytime you go :D
That would have been ok tbh but he just didn't seem to be bothered with me.
His voice had an attitude of you have to chase me for the car, i'm not going to any effort to sell it.
Well obviously its me, and the way i am.
Just when ive been trying to sell anything for 2 weeks i put the buyer first, no matter what time it is.
He didn't even offer to ring me back, just expected me to call again. Maybe its my loss
