At least you've got a new car on the way.....!
As Brad182 said - I'm surprised that it's still in the country. Not sure I'd like to know what happened to my car if it was stolen, tbh. Done and dusted, never to be seen again and all that.
Hopefully you won't be bummed too much by the Driver's...
If it can support a 3200+, then you're up 400mhz FSB speeds. Assuming that motherboard can support it?
I went from a 2400+ to a 3200+ and noticed a fair amount of improvement - especially when I upped the memory to DDR400 back then as well.
Athlon XP3200+ CPUs are very old hat now though...
Not 100% sure on what you mean, myself?
Do you mean that you have a works laptop, but you have BT Broadband at home, that you're trying to install onto the laptop?
You're paying for the BT bit yourself and wondering if you can do without it?

What's the deal with these then? I presume its something you can switch on and off? Nothing changes on the dash lights when I press the button.
Maybe mine's broken? ;)

On the way back from Oulton Park today - back to the M56 - I spotted four silver 172s at different times.
Is it a Cheshire thing to have such a 172? ;)
Spotted a couple of blue Ph.2 172s at Oulton itself and a pornographic Meggy F1 (the fit as fook one - blue/dark alloys)

A poorly neglected area of PC games, imo. Colin McRae is still probably the best at it.
If you want the best racing game, bar none - make sure you try GTR2. Difficult to say the least, but massively rewarding. Any half-decent PC will run it too.

Ah, is this why the throttle response at times seems a bit 'flat' when I blip the throttle on downshifts?
It almost feels like the pedal and engine aren't quite in agreeance!

Bit of a random thread, but how and where do people store their PCs and other bits like pads, polishes, etc?
I'm keeping mine in its packaging for now, but I'd like something to keep all the bits in together. I thought of an old rucksack or something similar to protect the PC?
Any other...
Good advice there - and so true. Some of these lads I see driving about, you might as well stick a neon light on the roof saying "VALUABLES IN HERE - COME AND GET THEM".

Quite easily the largest grouping of V6 Clios I've seen in one spot....
.... and if you don't want to count - there's a dozen of the buggers!
Both me and Steve felt a little bit outnumbered in our 182 and 172, but as it was a v6Clio.net meet, what else could we expect? ;)
The weather was...
Tbh, I find that I get more 'frustrated' with lack of time, if I get into an online game. Getting friends online at the same you're free and the PC running sweet, with no other crap to deal with for a few hours, can be really difficult to manage at times.
It's one of the main reasons why I tend...
That's all I used on mine m8, to get the results below....
That was after I'd clayed the car with Megs, then used Sonus SFX-2 on it with the PC. AG Super Resin Polish did the rest. :)

Logitech MX518 - best purchase I've made on a mouse. Works great in tandem with the Logitech G15 keyboard too....

I'm convinced with stuff like this, that group of scroats sit in anonymous cars in corners of retail parks and just watch cars coming and going.
Anything that looks appealing, they'll clock - and watch the driver going into a particular shop. Another scroat or two will be in touch (maybe even...
Re: my c**ky mate in his cooper s works
I would have p1ss myself laughing, closed the door and shout "come back in another year when you have something decent."
MCS Works? Who gives a flying fcuk? Do owners of such cars have something to prove with their self-induced 'big-upmanship'?
Makes...
Whoa! :D
How easy is to wash the car now?! Much, much smoother and dare I say it, quicker and easier than before.
I only used the usual tepid water mix with AG Bodywork Shampoo in it, but the results were very impressive indeed.
The only question I have now (hello Rich?!) is with keeping...
