Whilst dicking round with the spring and damper I managed to break/pull the rubber gator off the drive shaft dumping all the gear box oil over my drive. Would I have lost all the oil or just some of it? How do I check the level so I know how much to put back in?

again? that's original in there mate, 10 years old now. um sounds interesting got anymore info? a week after I fitted the new wishbone, I did jack the whole of the front of the car up, loosen the ARB bolt and re tighten. just in case it wasn't in right. not sure if that's the right way to check?
