How easy is it to map these cars to run maf-less?
Will it affect the map that's already on it? Will I run the risk of damaging other components?
The more i'm looking at them, the more i'm noticing that lots are running without mafs.
So it does shake?
I think I made it clear, I like the cars. Out of all the 4 seater cabs, a 46 is what i'd have (and had!) but I was just trying to point out the downfall of owning that type of car from a keen drivers point of view.
I wasn't slating the car or trying to put it down.
The car is very heavy, and you can feel it twist as it has no roof. The engine is underpowered for the weight of the car.
But like I say, if you just want a smart cabrio and nothing else, it looks like a nice example. Best colour too, although I am biased.
If the cars low and got loads of camber, your driveshaft will be banging in the gearbox i'd imagine.
I had that on my mk1 when I did the shell swap and just bolted everything back in quickly. Once it had been lifted up a bit and the million degrees of camber removed, it was fine.
I want some correction mate yes. Like you, if it looks good to me with a coat of Tripple/SRP then it will be ok for customers. But for the cars that are really bad, I'm looking for something that's easy to work with, can be used in one step and can be used effectively with a DA. I'm not looking...
I'll book a day off work, i'll gladly show you how to drive properly. x
(How can you say it's not fast?? My mates 535d can't get anywhere near it and they're hardly slow)
