The whole car just looks awkward.
I'm gutted! I wanted one as soon as I heard it was a 5 door. Tbh, I couldn't care less if it's a minger, the 200 was pony after the 197 but I still bought one. The lack of clutch pedal was the killer for me.
Tax and insurance is by the by. Any 3 door 2.0 petrol car would be the same. MPG is a joke for the performance but unless you're doing 15k a year or more, it's largely irrelevant.
I appreciate what you say about a higher grade car, but there are very few standard cars that are as good on track...
Bless your stepdad. I think you're a bit harsh on him.
Car's looking good though. Spray that black fire proof mat at the back of the engine with a cheapo can of satin black. It will look brand new. Takes less than 30 seconds to do and makes a massive difference.
You don't need spring compressors on sports.
I am a mechanical buffoon and even I figured out how to change the suspension over mate. Honestly, it's very easy. Between me and a mate we can do it in 40 minutes now.
My favourite, as in the one i'd most like to own, is the yellow 197 that's supercharged. But i'd get it painted in a non gay colour.
197, win.
Forced induction, win.
If you bought it from a garage, you have a comeback.
If it was private, you're on your own kid.
I have very little sympathy I'm afraid. Everything is cheap for a reason. If you wanted a decent spec, well documented history car, eBay would not be the place to buy one. I'm guessing you bought...
