Deletes all your saved games? FFS?!
That will prove popular.............not. What happens on the next patch after this one? Will it be a case of loosing all the saved progress again?
Bad, bad design and planning that.

Quit your yacking or I'll biatch-slap you with a rusty keyboard and mouse.. :rasp:
It crashed on me on Saturday again. Probably becuase I hadn't closed down BF2142 in the background (don't ask). I was amazed that the gameplay didn't seem to suffer - I think it was a chronic lack of memory...
Definitely recommended James, though I got the impression that it removes not just tar, but literally anything else on your car such as wax or polish. You would ideally reapply these afterwards.
It helps enormously too, if your car is a lighter colour. On my previous car (using AG TR), the tar...
Quality responses, as ever chaps..:approve:
The AG Tar Remover sounds like a good idea. I still have some from when I used it (with great results) on my Punto. The tar specks literally just ran off.
Cheers,

Rich, I remember you saying the same on my other thread last year. I wonder if (for whatever reason?) the paintwork itself is pretty crap on the surface and has been 'hidden' by layers of wax or some other coating before I had the car delivered?
Again (as if to further prove this) Jain used...
When will I learn?
After recovering from last year's fiasco (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=135061&highlight=clay) I had the 'bright idea' of trying it again today.
Everything would be different this time though, or so I thought. I read and re-read what I needed to do...
Wait, wait, wait...... what's the rush?
If you're after playing games on the PC, then at least wait until they get most of the issues with Vista sorted out.
I'm still happy as a pig-in-muck to continue using my DX9 dual 7900GTXs and either XP32 or XP64. There's just no rush (or need) to...
^^^^^ - it is supposed to be chronic on Vista, Roy. From what I've heard, your problems are quite light compared to others.
It must be bad if the developers themselves are admitting that there's a problem with it & Vista.

As I've said before - it would be great for developers to not only support quad-core, but quad SLi-too. Imagine having dual monitor support thrown in too - say BF2142 with the squad/commander screen open on the right and your on-foot/FPS view to the left. Proper multi-tasking....
The...
Was that the one that had that truly terrible flying bit in the middle? Aside from that, it was a brilliant game. They should have dropped the flying bit and just kept it FPS.

Hi m8!
Sorry about that - I didn't even notice! :o
I'd gone to PC World off Junc.6 and then filled up on the V-Power (hence Salmesbury). I thought about heading back into to town, but a blat along the carriageway was preferred.... ;)

Feck Gareth - that's high! Good job it was an Intel CPU - an AMD would have been a melted blob at the bottom of your case by then. ;)
I'm running high-40s normally. If I've done an hour or so on BF2142, it will be mid-50s. The GFX cards fair better - usually mid-40s regardless of what I'm...
Hmmmm - an hour in, and I'm actually quite liking it! :o
Nowhere near as polished or well presented as say Oblivion, but its a good attempt - even if it has taken donkey's years to come out.
I want to hear what The Munson has to say about it. He's had it on backorder since he was five years...
Yes it is - if the mobo supports it. ;)
The Asus M2N32-SLi has the 10% overclock function on the CPU tab. Stock clock on the AM2-4800 CPU is obviously 2,400Mhz. Enable the overclock and it immediately switches it to 2,640Mhz.
Seems entirely stable at that too - never had an issue in 9...
