That's a sh1tter Colin - I hope it goes ok for you. :(
Fecking granny drivers - they really p1ss me right off. You get stuck on A-roads with national bloody speed limit signs and they sit there at 35-40mph. I followed one the other day and she was weaving about the road, all over the place...
Random post.....
Managed 1.14.8 at Donny short circuit in a standard 911 GT3. Standard fuel load and with soft slicks in all corners.
I have also consumed several bottles of the "King of Beers" - so that might actually improve my lap time! ;)

^^^^^ - lol, me being stupid. I meant "...without DX10 of course"
Personally, I think the whole 64-bit arena is one to keep and eye on. If they can manage say quad-core CPU, with true 64-bit support in games, then I think the results could be fecking amazing.
64-bit also has something like...
Jeezuz - poor b*****d.
You go out for a fun-day out (hopefully with like-minded petrolheads) and sh1t like this happens.
Sign of the friggin' times, unfortunately....

Some great racing today at Oulton Park - in particular the GT racing being a gamble with the rain being on/off all through the 2nd race. The VW racing was superb too - an entertaining mix of VAG powered cars including turbos, turbo/supercharged combos. V6's and even TDi power. Some of the sounds...
LOL - you never know. By then, they may have got off their fat arses and sorted out a proper Vista driver for your 7950 and Crysis will run good enough - obviously, with DX10 of course. ;)

Roy - you know my views m8 - keep what you've got and enjoy it. You're pretty much the same spec as me M2N32-SLi Deluxe, AM2 4800, 2x 7900GTX and with 4GB DDR2-800 under the lid.
I'm not even considering Vista yet - let alone the 8800 (and above) range of cards.
You're doing the equivalent of...
This NOD campaign is just getting better. I actually feel like I don't trust anyone on the NOD side in the film clips - lol!
Brilliant game - and if anyone is just about to start it, I'd recommend the NOD missions first.
And if you're new to the whole real-time strategy thing, just try C&C3...
So far - I've still got to try GTR2 whilst under the influence, but on things like Gran Turismo, I have managed better laptimes after a good couple of bevvies.
What this proves/disproves, I've no idea. Do I drive like 92-year-old Norris in his 1.0litre Micra whilst sober? Crikey. There's a...
Spotted quite a few RS Clios on there before now (just a stone's throw away from my parent's) - but they just look at you blank, when you let onto them.
Bloody inbreds from A-U-L - that's what they are. ;)
D.
LOL - how the feck do you do that Croatia level??? :S
Getting mullered from four sides is bad enough, but they just keep coming when you're supposed to escort the MCV from the top left down to the base.
I can't even get past the NOD defences on the left with the MCV - and even if I could...
I must admit, if I could afford my own little track monsta - I would be looking at the Clios first.
They seem a great mix of cost, performance and above all - fun.

Yup - it's quite impressive to look at and not reduce the action to a snails-pace (ala Supreme Commander).
Checked out the memory usage mid-game last night on my 4GB equipped PC. It was only using 32% memory - lol.

Does look great - but it's a bit of a single-hitter and game over. I preferred the older C&CG versions where you had to be more specific and selective in your targets.
This one seems to be 'anywhere on that half of the map will do'..... ;)

If its 'b****cks' then why do you say that the Wii is outselling the PS3 in Japan then? I was backing you up saying that Japan as a sales market is an oddball - it doesn't fit into the worldwide traditional sales pattern.
D.
^^^^ - yep, much harder than NOD imo. I think it's down to the fact that I don't know what's what with them yet.
Liking the missions so far and for once, I'm actually watching all of FMV pieces in-between the missions. Michael Ironside is probably the best person they could have picked for...
Japan doesn't really count though, does it?
Put any game out there with some big-eyed girl(s) and some bizarre scenarios and the Japs will buy it in droves. If its cute - it sells. Us Europeans and the Yanks (to be fair) tend to like things a bit more cerebral than having Miss Yakeumachi and...
