Best of having plain water in the rinse bucket so the grit falls to the bottem of the bucket rather than getting trapped in any of the suds.

Use the mitt like a sponge, I do - cant be doing with wearing it. Two bucket method using a sponge is still going to risk damage to your paint.

I save my old clay to use on wheels, works a treat. Anything above the paints surface clay does a good job at shearing off.
