The rest of the paint fully agreed, but the bonnet is 50/50 imo, if/when the polish gets forced into the cracks by a pc, you wont get it out and it may look worse when it dries white in there.
If there is plenty of clear on there a wet sand and then polish *may* sort it.
LOL - I wondered who would spot that!
I should have ran after it down the straight with a MF and some QD!
No cleaning all day, my mate with the 205 GTi we cleaned last weekend was the only person to clean a car, dirty cars everywhere!
Guy - no it was chap from the Rallye Register.
Not tried anything else in the 182 to compare, but MPG was better in my 306 when using it in that. My 205 GTi used to run much better and rev more cleanly on Optimax than it would on any otehr brand of super.
Went to a Pug club track day on Sat with some mates, another former Pug owner saw the way forward as well and has changed to a 182 to!
Link to non Clio pics, lots of 205 GTi's and some Mk1 Golf GTi's for fans...
A PC wont sort any faded paint problems as the colour will have faded under the laquer.
I doubt there will be much paint fade on such a snew car. Modern clearcoats are pretty good at protecting the base coat from UV damage.
Finding a good one I suspect will be hard.
I gave up on my hunt for a 205 GTi a while back, after driving miles and miles to see supposed mint examples. I fear it may take some searching.
You need just a small screw driver then for the Alpine.
Remove the plastic surround and you will see two small clips at either side of the unit, push these up and then the unit will be free to slide out.
I only ever rinse my lambswool mitts out with water after use.
As for the drying towel, wack it in the washing machine on 40/50 degree's with some liquid washing detergent, and NO fabric softener.
