In that thread he says its a quote, he (Kenny Brown) told me it would be £300 labour if i supplied the parts now im unsure if you could keep the cost of parts under £300 but either way its however much it costs or new engine i suppose.

Even with VAT being the way it is, i highly doubt it would be as much as that. I offered to supply the cambelt and water pump to him and he said it would be £300 in labour so £600 sounds a bit much.
