He will need it full strength to have any chance of shifting that. Its only on the backs at least, I have seen it dull paint on the front faces used full strength.
That Astonish sounds up to the job then!
Doubt it will be any worse than high acid based ones like Wonder Wheels, or Autoglym Wheel cleaner.
It will take something strong to cut through that. Hopefully you will only need to use it once, if you protect and seal them well and maintain them after.
An acid based cleaner and clay by the looks of it to get the rest of the grime off Guy. Still may not all come off.
The Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss inside and out.
It wont kill it with common sense. Lots of people have trouble on darker colours not getting holograming and have to use the PC after.

For the price you cant go wrong will be better thean a sponge at least. I find the cheap ones dont last long before they shed everywhere, where as a 7 quid lambswool ones can last months or years.
