they did that WITH the valver. the valver was quicker, handled better, was comfier, better all round really. they built the williams to take advantage of the rallying regs upgrading from 1800 cc limit to 2.0 litre. so williams was built purely for homolgomation purposes.
moving the game on...
the 309 was a much more refined place to be. handled better, was just as quick , give or take a few tenths to 60 etc. nothing youd really notice. roomier, comfier, an all round quicker a-b back road weapon.
and i dont own A williams....i have 2.....;) i own the williams'es above all the...
so that would make my opinion better than everybody elses??? ;)
out of the 205, 309 gti, golf gti, all the ford xr/rs models, the sunbeams, the allegro equipe that iv either owned or driven, and the new-er reno sport range 172/182/197/200/r26 etc ......
the keys id be picking...
personally, id disregard the 205 and get a 309..
driven quite a few 205s in my time, and rs tubs, xr2/3 and i's, surprised noones mentioned the talbot sunbeam yet either, ok the 1.6 ti's werent overly quick, but sooooo much fun. and when a 2.0 crapi lump up front could be a real...
a massive improvement over 1 tho?
i have gt5 and forza 3.....what can this add to them?? obv the free roamin round the island was always 1 of the highlights of the 1st 1. does it move the game on from that to justify the outlay?
most of the 172s iv seen down the strip have been very low 15s, with the majority of them mid to late 14s. rhys', chris n nics, tim o's, charlie o's, paddys all running around late 14s, obviously chris' a little quicker with the rsport ecu.
mind you ....this was a good fewyears ago...
lol.no quicker than any of the others iv had tbh. so to me they all pretty standard fare.
williams 2 i had was about 0.1 secs off my 1/4 times, when craggy had it.....another blast from the past lol.
the other williams 1 i have i think is a little quicker.

had a lot of tussles with this car over the years.....the 2 vids going way back when weight owned...
think character...furthest car from mind is the old agro. altho did have an equipe back in the day, was pretty cool in an odd way.
also think ford prefect...character....anglia...none.
both classics due to their age.
mk1 granada, again no character compared to the likes of the mk1...
lmao. were you screaming in that too??? he took me round oulton in it, just a shame we didnt get a decent run....was almost as quick as the williams ;)
lmao......just trying to get my inanely boring pointless post count up near your twos......been here longer.....yet youv posted 3x more bull........ ;)
