25k meg btm end. not exactly old n tired. doesnt really matter how good or bad a driver you are, an r makes more sense, especially so when on a budget. 2-300 for an r, and still quicker than cammed p. and with more scope for bigger power. no brainer imho. fair play tho, each to their own.
144...im taking it as thats at the fly??? for the cost of the cams alone....an f7r would make more sense..150 at the fly for less coin than a set of cams/pulleys and remap.
throw in the extra and £ for £ the f7r wins hands down.
14.6..... is that standard mate? the williams used to run 14.8s with just decat n zorst mods. 14 deads with cams, would have been 13s had i took some weight out and the cams hadnt exploded lol
138 bhp in the valvers mate ;)
the extra 134 cc, 12 bhp and 20 iirc lb/ft is well worth the conversion tho. diff between the 2 to drive is like night and day.
also well worth sticking with the f7 series blocks rather than go the f4 route imho. simple conversion, get just as much power spec...
is a b*****d that 1. took me a while to just finish. had enough of it so took my 2nd place and silver. almost had 1st at gambons but the cheating fecker took it wide and was all over the grass on the exit. how come they dont get disqualified for that too?. v annoying.
lol..yeah...cos i have to justify to you.....errrr , lets see....the sum total of feck all....
above the law??? no1 is above the law, unless of course you happen to be a pro footballer, politician, copper etc etc.
basically what your saying is i cant go 1mph over the limit cos i cant...
mcrae reincarnated......lol.....i wish
give me a question that makes sense, il answer it ;)
iv been driving 20 years legally, had 6 points and a couple of little scrapes. had some pretty quick cars in my time, driven some stupidly quick/powerful cars too. never had a big accident. maybe im...
agree with dave tbh. unexperienced drivers are more at risk no matter what car their driving. but then again some of the driving iv seen from ppl that have been driving for 40 years or more can be a hell of a lot worse than someone whos just passed their test.
so now your telling me what i think? this place just gets better lol.
a spirited drive is just that. a thrashing . whos to say what a 'safe' speed is? is 50 mph round a hairpin with a 300 ft drop at the side of it safe? no? then why are there roads like that in nat speed limit zones? if the...
so tell me. why did you buy a fast car/hot hatch?? if its for the looks/comfort why not rep a 1.2? cheaper in all areas. and apparently not a cat in hells chance of it reaching a ton. if its for the power, then the bit in bold speaks for itself.
as said above really. trophy is built to go round corners quick-ish. saxo isnt. so the sax even not going as quickly would get into trouble long before the trophy. doesnt mean its safer does it? also doesnt mean it couldnt get up to a ton. thatd be like comparing a trophy to an ex btcc car or...
lol...... 100 can be reached in pretty much any car nowadays. even back 20 years ago the minis/festas/scorts were capable of hitting over 100.
i love thos place tbh, slating the guy for doing the exact same thing you would all do given the chance. and i dont mean the running outta talent and...
sorry but im going to disagree woth some of you.......surprisingly. i learnt the limits of my cars on the local moorland roads, mainly at night, can see the headlights coming the other way and adjust speed accordingly. now my first cars were minis, not overly quick il admit, but with a few...
hes not racing yet no. just the odd session every now and then. embarrassing the guys old enough to drive (myself included lol) mostly. he should be in the same karts as the adults soon too rather than the kiddykarts. then he can start really taking the piss lol.
cant afford to take him...
lol..... my lads already got his. willy 1 no. 0051. hes not a bad driver now, so another 7 years practise before he can legally hit the streets. btw, car is cammed/chipped and stripped. he cant wait til he can reach the pedals. 2 years messing around in karts under his belt so far.....little...
im with daz on this one.
amount of cost+ hassle.....stick with the f7 tbh. they are bulletproof.
if i was to do a conversion on one of mine....itd be this....

hmmm i seem to remember someone elses car getting hammered near to death round the track at fcs for 'demo' purposes.....extremely unprofessional imho, specially seeing as tho they wouldnt even replace the tyres.....oh well.live n learn, use a decent co. next time. mind you, this was before the...
