My painter is sublime, proper good!
My family live in Wycombe so I know for a fact how far away we are, about 1hr 20 minutes.
This is the work he does...

£500 I wanted for it. Ended up getting £220 for the shell at the scrappy, got £250 for the wheels and nearly £300 for the audio stuff. (Two big subs, 2 amps, Alpine H/U and two big sony house speakers! lol)
I'd rather have sold it as a whole van though as it had potential to be amazing.
I don't know it's kept inside. It pissed down the night we collected and it stayed dry, but it does smell musty/damp in there. But then it's old so it may just smell like that anyway. My Nan did.
Ffs. I'm so sorry Nick.
If I was you, whilst the interiors out, i'd remove the headlining and the sunroof and seal the whole lot up. Just to make sure.
Any idea where it's coming in??
Good work, the back looks the same height as my van. I burst two Gaz shocks on the back of mine on the way to CSS 11 as it was too low really. Made no difference, the torsion bar looked after it all anyway.
I had coilovers on the front, lowered 110mm, then a Laguna splitter to make it look a...
I've typed that into ebay but nothing comes up like that.
The whole unit comes up (With the stalks still attatched) but I can't find that actual part and it's driving me mental!
I need one of these for a 182 Cup.
But I can't find one because I don't know what it is or what it's called.
It sits on the steering column behind the steering wheel, and rotates inside itself.
Odd that its got all that history, been well looked after and got the cs essential mods, but its not recognised on here.
Fair play though, hope she enjoys it.
I miss it so much. I loved that little thing.
Even after two years parked under a tree, I connected the battery and it fired up first time. Bloody bomb proof! Drove lovely as well.
No idea what their cars are like, but their salesman Martin used to work with my partner Dave. That's all I know really mate.
I have my own opinions of him which are best kept to myself! lol.
If it had the belts done, didn't have kerbed wheels and the steering wheel wasn't held together with electrical tape, then yes, i'd agree it was worth £3000. maybe even a touch more given its colour and nice miles.
But it needs the best part of £1000 spending on it to get it up to a level an...
It's ideal if you can get it cheap enough and can sort the wheels/belts/steering wheel yourself. I'd only use a trusted person for the belts, I wouldn't trust the garage, no disrespect to them.
But I wouldn't pay £2990 for that. Nowhere near it in fact!
If it was Miami blue 1.9 with power steering and 20,000 miles from new, I could understand the asking price.
I sold an absolutely mint 1.6 about 2 years ago. Full history and pretty much unmarked. I had it up for £1999 for a long time (2months iirc!) before I sold it.
