But I don't. I've watched films, it hasn't needed to be adjusted once. :S
You and the fatty are concerned about a problem that I don't have.
With regards to the speakers, they are plenty heavy enough. Offer more than enough punch. The bass on the amp is only just past half way and they are...
since yesterday, the kids have watched two films and I've watched one and I've not had to adjust the volume on the sub at all since the initial setup.
I turn it off for normal telly and my music.
So the problem you are describing isn't an issue to me so far and tbh is unlikely to be in the...
The sub is connected via 'rec out' which is how it said to do it in the manual.
Re the amp and speakers, he personally recommended both for good quality music.
I turn the sub on for the kids films.
I dont really understand why you think they don't go together.
But I'll only use the sub for watching films, so does it really matter?
The type of music I listen to, and particularly the volume I listen at, does not need any boom boom, the speakers provide more than enough.
The link I posted does say 2 speaker outputs.
But if you click on the specification part, it states 2 pairs of speakers, which would explain why it has 4 outputs on the back of the stereo.
Its a 4 channel amp. I only have 2 speakers though.
It also has a sub output on the back of it, which I am using.
I don't really understand any of what you asked me.
Like I said, gimmicks are not my thing. I just like my music.
Speaker stands, possibly a CD player and I will change some of the cabling as a couple of them aren't long enough and look stretched.
Apart from that, nothing.
Music is my priority, sound quality. But thank you for belittling me expenditure none the less.
The fact it plays the telly loud is for the kids DVD's.
When chatting to the guy in the shop, he advised me that if I was after better sound, to avoid a gimmicky amp and go for one with better...
I haven't got a detatched house, but I don't really care about my neighbours. They'll be out on a sunday morning when I always have my music on and watching films is hardly going to be extreme volume as my kids are upstairs! lol.
I do need a bit of help with the USB/ipod/amp lead though...
Plus all the cabling!! Today was not a cost effective day that's for sure!
I did get a bit of discount though so i'm happy with what was spent.
Although it doesn't compare to how happy I am with the music I now have! :D
Do you want me to write it a fcuking love letter??
The sub is wired up how a sub should be, don't worry.
The amp is an amazing bit of kit, the sound quality is unreal!
Renault will replace it if it hasn't been done before (The one on the bonet, not the bit on the slam panel) but if uts already been done and failed again, you can buy new ones for about £25 iirc.
At last!!
Today I went out and sought some advice and as a result have purchased...
Cambridge Audio Amp
Cambridge Audio Sub (monster!)
And some DALI bookshelf speakers. (At a later date I will get some stands but I've spent enough £ today!)
And all the relevant cabling.
Got it all from...
For what its worth, i'd rather have normal seats over recaro's.
They're too hard, the back of them marks too easily with people getting in and out, the airbags look stupid and they wear out stupidly fast.
If so, can they pm me please?
