tbh iv always found pod to be the slower strip in my experience....the startline there has usually been glued quite heavily tho. last time i was there, was 35 deg heat, and u needed 2500 revs + just to unstick the tyres from where u were sat.
altho the times are very close. 14.0 at york...
Re: NW Rivington/Hollingworth Meet Pictures
theres some crackin roads away from the pub. the road over the edge is ok if its a nice clear day., but you can link it up to about another 50+ miles of moorland roads too.

Re: Renault 5 F2000 Tarmac Rally / Sprint Car - Clio Williams conversion & overhaul

Re: Renault 5 F2000 Tarmac Rally / Sprint Car - Clio Williams conversion & overhaul
yes they were..and we always had probs with em.

and the...
Re: Renault 5 F2000 Tarmac Rally / Sprint Car - Clio Williams conversion & overhaul
bodies are already paid for....an extra 350 isnt a huge amount really.
spending countless hours under the bonnet readjusting the carbs to suit temps etc on the day rather than hooning round in...
Re: Renault 5 F2000 Tarmac Rally / Sprint Car - Clio Williams conversion & overhaul
with what?? carbs. no it would be an improvement, barely. but the bodies would be so much more.
yeah 350 for mapping. budget for it...no point not doing in my experience, having fitted mine n not...
Re: Renault 5 F2000 Tarmac Rally / Sprint Car - Clio Williams conversion & overhaul
mapping is NOT an issue tho.

Re: Renault 5 F2000 Tarmac Rally / Sprint Car - Clio Williams conversion & overhaul

Re: Renault 5 F2000 Tarmac Rally / Sprint Car - Clio Williams conversion & overhaul

VKh7TZ7GlyU
14.0 with cams/remap. 14.4 with cams on std ecu. 14.6 with zorst mods only. all with rear seats n spare wheel out....and de-cat n cat back 15.0 std with all trim inc the 2x babyseats, pram in boot etc
0-60. 7.01 std with full trim
0-60 with cams map n zorst mods, minus rear seats 5.63
if u can get a complete donor car....easy enough mate.
will need eng/box, loom, and be rude not to widetrack it out to the 16v spec of course you could always go with the williams widerack too and get some valver wings on. youl need the valver bonnet anyway to clear the cam cover
