mines set at a soft cut at 7100 on the std inlet, bout 8k on the bodies. both with std internals. and i likes me limiter ;)

i used the williams head on mine. and the webeer set up.. i wont be going to the trouble of sorting a megane head out for when they go back on, but i will be making one or two more adjustments to the chadil manifold, they are finished really poorly, had to fettle quite a bit just to get...

0-60 5.63 0-100 about 14.5-15 secs, maybe quicker SQM 14.0 would go quicker. in one. dont really know about the throttle bodied one, maybe around 6 to 60 but lower times for rest. will have to sort em out , refit em then go pod or summat lol. was a match for thejesus' anyway ;)

better off getting a megane btm end tbh. the "williams" bit usually seems to add a couple hundred to the price tag for some reason

yes mate, the engine will drop straight in, you would need the loom etc tho as the 1.2 one would be useless for the 1.8. there is everything there for a conversion tho, eng, shafts, brakes, hubs,shox/springs, minus box, even an almost complete 1.8 valver trim, very clean minus front...

i have a complete 1.8 16v lump, can be heard running for 100 quid ;) could have all the loom/clocks etc for 150 for

must admit. that looks a lot better set up than the usual bodies conversion, purely for the inlet /butterfly shape. dig me up when ones actually produced ;)

id recommend ds2500 pads with std discs. dot 4 fluids and a set of braided lines. as edde says tho, std shud be pretty good, but give them a bit of continual abuse they start to fade very quickly. iv fitted the ds 2500 s on mine a while ago now, have been very impressed, no fade wotsoever...

thats not a problem..iv rectified the 10 mpg on 0051 now....hehe. took the bodies off and gone back to standard inlet. left the cams in tho ;) slowly slowly gettin ready for spa lol. let me know when your about.

as above really. back in the day, mod for mod, mine was running around a couple tenths quicker than the 1*2's on the strip zorst n filter mods only. rhys' old 172 ph1 being the quickest of the newer ones, with paddys ph2 close behind. both chasin mine n craggys zorsted/filtered...

and you wonder why the mk1 owners defend them so much ?? ;) if you like the valver.......youd absolutely love the williams.
