    Hairdryer to loosen the glue, and Autoglym Tar and Adhesive remove for any sticky left overs!

    Welcome to CS As for mk1 or mk2 I'd go for which ever your prefer looks wise. The last of the mk2's has the most toys.

    The only time I seem to wind the window down on mine is to reverse into the garage, I always put it up with the engine running though to get one touch as im lazy. Maybe its a saftey feature to allow people to escape!
