Yes, I heard that the ph2's were the worst for rust but this one is as clean as a whistle.
My ph1 (RIP) got scrapped because it was as rotten as a pear. Literally held together with mastik and filler.
Thought i'd get a little project section going, to keep a log of all that's going into this car.
I bought it from a member on here. When I went to view it I was shocked at how solid the shell is. Never seen another mk1 like this! However, I am a loser/sad act/geek and wanted it to be minter...
It looks like a nice car. That's all I have to say really.
If it was Red/another colour and had nicer wheels and you'd just detailed it then I'm sure i'd be saying ''OMG that's stunning''.
Sorry I can't be more enthusiastic mate.
I personally think the whole NMR is a pointless and massively flawed system and unless there's something blatantly wrong, I always take it with a pinch of salt.
Judging by that up there, the car has was hpi'd, then drove 590 miles then HPi'd again. All in the same day.... Its a terrible...
IF its an emissions light the chances are it will be a lambda sensor. This can throw the emissions out so the car could fail the mot on that rather than the light.
