Just so you know, most of the time a screen is replaced you have to replace the sensor (can't buy the pads seperate) so if it has been replaced they might not have had the money to replace that aswell.

id disconnect the battery and then try that, might re-set the immobiliser

Remember guys and gals that a missfire can be caused be a few things... If a car has faulty sparkplugs/HT leads that can cause a mis fire, also, a faulty injector could cause it to seem very reserved and not pull aswell as it should. Also check the coil packs aswell

Water gathers in the top turret and causes slight corrosion iirc. Solid top mounts will sort this, its not an expensive fix and a feature on loads of Clios
