converting the 172 ff PAS line to fit the 172 cup setup (same PAS pump, different location) isn't really a DIY job, we can supply the parts required as we've done a few now
believe me Andy it does! welding 2 sections of pipe together with a back purge takes a good 10-15min to weld all the way round (you have to do it in sections otherwise you get deformation)
making the flanges (several decat pipes on the market use s**t flanges)
bending the pipe sections, welding the pipe sections together, back purging, welding in the lambda bosses, polishing the pipe, coating the ends, (this is TIG i'm on about here)
it takes around 4.5 hrs to make 1!

yeah, some clio engines the water pump runs off the cambelt, others it runs off the aux belt (such as the 172/182), either way they're a wanker to change
the mk1 172 decat is shorter than the mk2 172 one, holes aren't an issue as we supply a blanking plug
but we still haven't got round to moddifying our jig to make mk1 172 decats yet
