HAve you tried Auto glym super resin polish? Its very cheap and basic but extremely easy to use and hides swirls quite well.

Its got quite a history. The guy who's selling it is widely renowned as the god of mk1's! Its probably a completely different engine as its had ITB's on it for a while. But tbh, if its been built/maintained properly then who cares.

Don't worry about miles. Go on condition and service history and parts recently replaced. My mint one had 113k on it iirc and I still got nearly £4k for it.
