Seems like the sensor problem has finally bitten then, it has been a known problem for ages but never ever sorted out at the factory, serves them right.

Nice one, dont worry I waited 3 months for my normal 182 so 3 weeks isnt anything.
Sounds like you will get the miles on yours faster than me, a poor 1200 miles in 4 months so far!
If I was buying a 182 now rather than 6 months ago when I payed my deposit I would really be in a postition of not knowing what car to buy. I really dont know if I could exactly choose! Glad in one way I didnt have to as I would have probably brought something totally different to stop me having...

On the Meguiars front am I right in thinking 80 and 83 require a PC or the like?I do mine by hand and currently if im doing a full job Ill wash and clay, then tech wax and #16 all by hand. Not buying anymore hardware but is there a...
I think in my 182, the steering feels overlight to me as most modern cars do. Its not as bad as some, but I would feel alot more at home with the same weighted steering as my old 205 GTi.

Agreed - thats essential advice, my car leaves inside pretty much 7 days a week but as I said earlier I always use it over a sealant, Souveran for is for the looks .

Then polish, seal and wax.
I have used the PC on my car once or twice since I have had it. Once to give it a really good polish to remove the swirls, then another...

Darren, mostly trial and error at first, but for things like machine polishing mostly from guys who have them from CS and...
I sue a wax called Souveran as the final product on mine as it is formaulated for dark paint inparticular black.
When preparing paint the whole prep process will give you the overall look. A good polish first to remove any inperfections before sealing and waxing will set up the overall look...
I hope he sorts it for you, I don want to worry you but the guy that came to do my old car failed badly and made it look worse than it did before. Ended off wiping the paint off leaving filler and sanding makes and gone through laquer as well as the origional scratch. On the other hand the dent...
