    M11 GTT

After sifting through all that lot I've found most of the bits I need, then I delved into the sheds to get the shiny bits for the front end build. Powdercoated subframe with 172 arms and arb (not in pic), powerflex purple bushes all round FK coilovers ACS roll correction kit 172 Hubs...

    M11 GTT

Right, time to start this one again. Unpacked the shell for first time in 5 years, inventoried everything and reorganised into stuff I need and stuff that's not currently required. Dug out the front suspension stuff almost in it's entirety and will make a list of stuff I need to complete the...

Big Steve's RB Clio 182 Cup Restoration

Mines totally ruined there, easy fix though, that little plastic door you opened to find the issue? Yeah that shuts right up again 😋

    Powerlite users?

As far as I'm aware no difference in fitment, my powerlite fitted the odyssey terminals I already had as I moved from same one as you. Mines in stock location however but I would suspect cable length wouldn't really affect it. The powerlite cranks harder than the odyssey ime despite weighing...

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

Sorted some anchor points for the washer blanks, hoping I can use the backing plates off the originals to get angle right but we'll see when I take it apart tomorrow to fit. For now, quick drying araldite to the rescue once more! Ready for glue Stuck And set and solid Cheers Ben

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

Thanks for the kind comments, I try to keep on top of jobs and once I get the arch seen to and front end suspension refresh this year and belts again next spring she'll be sorted for few more years. However no plans to sell currently no

    Clio VR6 turbo 4-motion

Only 10.5? Rod's fwd only 5 did a 9 with less power, I'd of expected 750 awd to be well into 9's

All Racing Blue 182's on the Forum...

The H&R are still doing me proud and I have the Oddy for my B14 fix if required so I'll cope! lol! Saw them on a family catch up zoom meeting last week anyway, so I know they're safe tucked up in my cousin's garage :)

    OneTime's Racing Blue 182

only just caught up on this, needs 2118 update ;-) I'm not a fan of the silver on RB, i always think darker wheels or bright white complement the colour more. However gloss black is also a no no from me, it's just too much. If anything go dark grey, BMW sparkling graphite grey is my grey of...

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

unfortunately I genuinely have no idea, all the carbon i have on the car has been acquired used via the classified on here of fakebook groups, so what company actually made them I do not know!

cheers @OneTime_ it's got a bit out of hand really, carbon everywhere and maybe a little too much for some, but keeps me interested in the car after 7.5 years :) i just love to tinker! yours is looking clean to, lovely!
  18. Coops Mk1

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

Old versus new, the carbon insert is a full direct replacement for the original, so this is why the bumper needs removing. The clips holding the old one in are seriously heavy duty really for what it is and need to be popped out from the rear with the foam padding removed. The exhaust trims...

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

So whilst the car was up in the air for the rear brakes, thought I'd take the opportunity to whip the rear bumper off, clean everything up and fit the carbon insert and exhaust trims I have had in the shed since last Autumn. Bumper off Arch liners out and cleaned up Old trims removed...
  20. Coops Mk1

    OE04UYN - RB FF 182 (ex The Boosh's Motor)

Took the opportunity today to strip, clean and re-grease the rear brakes as one calliper was binding slightly and it's another job i like to do once a year. The rears on the Clio's have been a weak spot, the calliper design harks right back to the R5's i think, so 80's design really. So rear...

What is it with 172 cup prices?

@White16valver not really, just never really liked the cups, 172 or 182, just don't appeal to me
  25. Coops Mk1

What is it with 172 cup prices?

Mostly agree, we all underprice But trophy > phase 1 > full fat 182 > 172 cup for me

Still miss my Clio....on the hunt...

The mk2's are on the up for that reason though, people want to come back as they're kicking themselves for selling up in the first place. Plus they're all 15+ years old now so far fewer left to choose from
