hehe wen i first bought the willy 1, i also had a valver too..........both of them sat there on the street.............owned both for a couple of months........and as much as i loved the valver before i got the willy, after id got the willy the valver never even turned a wheel in...
mines on 75k now..............20k more than when i bought it.....its been the most fun 20k ive ever driven lol
cars still as solid as it was then as well, jus 1 or 200 more stonechips on the front is all lol
94 L plate............10 x 12k so im just over 50% of average mileage for year
i reckon.........let it warm up all the oil n water from the first start with gentle driving.............once evrythings up to temperature, give a fukkin good thrashing.......go back home, let it cool , and check for any leaks.......if any , sort em then thrash it again, give th ecar to the mrs...

and yes .....long time clio sporter............bin on the forum...
the ERA mini had the mg turbo fitted as standard...as i mentioned earlier.but yeah other wise jus cut a hole in the bulkhead n get a plate in there, upgrade to 4-pots an u laffin
forget the newer mini coopers (old shape)..if u can find one get the ERA model, or plump for the 1275 GT if the squareshapes ur thing.......the inj coopers are sh*te...much better with a 1340 on carbs or summat like that....ERA had MG turbo in it btw hehe....very rare now

needed work to be able to get reverse and 5th...probs theyv never had apparently...easily sorted tho
most of the roads round here are b roads mate..i found the tyre wall on the pirrellis same size far to hard and bounced the car about a bit...the michys are a lot better.....and £180 all round...not bad value either
