WILLY FINALLY HIT 90K

the willy 3 last night hit the 90k mark on the mileage its still under the average it should be for a 95 N plate isnt it???

Average is say 12k a year.. so, 9 years.. 9 x 12 == 108k, hehe.

just hit 90 myself in the valver.. done alot of miles this year ive noticed.. still runs like a dream though.. roll on the big one!

Went past 90k last week as well, put 13k on it in my first year of ownership.

Ive got 63k on my Willy (late 1993).

10.5 years x 12k miles = 126k

So Im on exactly 50% of average mileage

No - on the contrary! Ive done 9k miles since I bought it on 54k miles last October (8/9 months). I dont drive it to work that often, but I do a lot of "pleasure" mileage like holidays and general blasts - thats what I bought it for!

thing is though, valvers/willy/172s/cups/v6s were all built with the sole purpose of being a drivers car not just you trip to the supermarket on a friday after work!!!

as long as the car is well maintained and still runs fine and u still enjoy the thrill of driving thewilly thenthe mileage really shouldnt be a prob.

When looking for my first valver i was told by numerous people that they and williams didnt sell by the mileage they did, its the condition of the car and the history that comes with it that sells em!

so mate, 90k really isnt abig deal in a willy cause they are still a sh*t hot car!!!!

Mine is currently on 73K from buying it in september last year. Added 4k since ive owned it.


Its off for its belts re-doing and service/mot next week as well.

mines on 75k now..............20k more than when i bought it.....its been the most fun 20k ive ever driven lol

cars still as solid as it was then as well, jus 1 or 200 more stonechips on the front is all lol

94 L plate............10 x 12k so im just over 50% of average mileage for year
