If you're putting a new engine in, you'd be mental not to get all the belts done and a new clutch. Once you've done all that and put your cams in/given it a decent service, there's no reason why that engine won't give you years and years more use.

How much oil is in there? if its got just the tiniest amount (say from a previous HG failure) oil will always rise to the top as its less dense than water. I'd do the relavant tests to make sure is HG failure as the F4r is a bloody strong engine and HG failure is rare.

Wagner, i've got some standard 182 cup springs if they're any good to you? You can have them for £20 posted if thats any use.

I'm not sure what you're asking so i'm going to spout off anyway... lol. I bought FK konigsport (williams fitment) for my valver and they are superb! The ride is completely spot on. (Fast road driving, not made it on track yet)

You could try sitting on top of me instead?

Lay under the car (or me?) and push the exhaust up as high as you can. Get the biggest socket you can in the mount. I used an old spark plug socket. Cable tie the socket in place. Works a treat and won't fail like the rubber crap.

Take them to someone and get them machined properly?
