If you own the car for longer than 7 days, its illegal not to update your MID account with the reg number.
(The MID account is what you would use to check if a cars insured)
You had a TDC sensor changed and sme fcuking suspension springs??!! FLOL!!
Fcuk off you belter. How can you possibly comment on any garage after having such remedial tasks carried out. A (badly) trained monkey can change the springs on a clio. How have you come to the conclusion that 519 is a...
You need to learn to..
A) Construct a sentence properly. The bit about TDF doesn 't even make sense.
B) Be a bit more transparent with your objective. You seem to be just spouting s**t for the sake of it?
C) Do one.
Of course I do, i'm old and wise... ;)
I had to sell my 172 when I bought the house. I tried my hardest to keep it but we needed the money for our builders £18,000 bill!! lol.
We ran around in a M reg 318 BMW for a few months while we sorted ourselves out and once we were sorted, I treated...
Where did you bring it from?
Anyway, the serv light and airbag light are connected, whoever told it you they never reset it after servicing it is chatting s**t. Usually its the wires under the seat. Give them a wiggle and a tug with the ignition on and if they go out there's your problem! To...
Sell it mate. Its not going to go up in value is it so the longer you leave it, the bigger the hit will be. From what I remember it looks pretty mint so you'll have no bother getting strong money for it.
Buy a clio1.2/ford ka/corsa 1.2 and both share that and plough your money into the house...
I'll take your Cambelt and full service and raise you....
I have a dual mass flywheeel, clutch and full cambelt kit on my wifes Vectra. This is on top of the alternator I did a few weeks back.
Just under a grand. (About £988!)
My mate does it, just did a clio in carbon white (foul!) and it cost the owner £1300 plus £150 mechanic fee's. (To take bits like door handles off and put back on)

The main issues here, are that the car you have is secondhand. If it was brand new, then RUK would bend over backwards, they are rEdiculously s**t hot on new car customer services.
The issue with it being secondhand is that it then becomes the problem child of the dealership where you bought...
I have a mate that does it and would normally charge £1200 for a car like mine and he's said he'll do it for just the cost of vinyl, so about £200. :)
The thing is, its a track car so if I have a prang, I can just buy a panel, get it wrapped the correct colour and fit it back on. Sorted.
If...
His was more because the cage was painted a different colour, that took nearly a whole day to mask up properly!!
I'm doing the cheaper option of painting the interior gloss black and the exterior is being wrapped in lambo satin grey. :D
Sam (The guy who owns the car) is a panel beater by trade so as you can imagine, the car is pretty much flawless. He's estimated that to do this to a customers car from scratch would cost in excess of £3000. Probably £4k+ once you factor in a decent roll cage.
Strip car completely (Glass and...
Cphil, there are numerous threads on timing belts on the F4r engine.
There is even a guy on here (Hi fred!) that says working on a Gallardo is easier!!
So please make sure its done at a reputable F4R specialist.
Welcome to the club. :)
