I'd personally fit a lower spec (1.2 base model) tank so you lose the stupid auxillery tank and just have a main tank. Best of both worlds then imo.

Water can only go downwards, so its leaking above the point at which its sat now. I'm betting on either a leaking ariel hole or the sunroof isn't 100% sealed up.

Wd40. It will give you a better starting point. There is no point hammering a torx bit in there if the bolt is siezed as it will either chew the torx bit or the bolt. If that doesn't work, get a bit of heat in it.

The most common cause of damp getting in is the bulkhead drain holes getting bunged up with leaves etc. The bulkhead gets puddles in them, then the water gets into the car. To check this, remove the wiper linkeage and arms, remove the black plastic trim and then check the drains.

Is it a track car or a show car? A track car with show car paint will look s**t and vise versa.

Which do you want out? The fuel level sender or the fuel pump? On my car the pump and the sender are in two seperate places. To get the pump out requires the removal of the Fuel tank.
