Rsr's are okay. Predictable but don't offer much outright grip and squeal thier tits off when on the rather tame limit
Never used ds2500 as they're just a road pad basically aren't they? CL RC6 I use but they are dusty and noisey lol
nice man, once all these seized and annoying jobs are done she'll then be a pleasure to work on again, love mine now I've had it completely in bits and copper slipped and greased everything. Lovely to just take to it knowing the job can be done :)
ai use the 182 cup wishbones, lots of lovely free caster then!
and as above, lol at 'budget' in the title! looks great though and once bonnet is painted it'll be spot on!
not tempted to reset the rear slightly lower to keep it more level, surely its going to nose down badly under braking like that?
overall though great work on the refit and for not actually 'ruining' it as all the bits are just bolt on anyway! lovely stuff!
Paint in hand
rattle can job like a boss! zero f***s given ;-)
Mess all over the place as ever, working neat is not in my nature! despite initial best intentions, the excruciating heat didn't help matters in all honesty!
painted the scuttle for about the 23rd time, need to strip back...
yeah my willy's were all a bit rough.....ahem, killed 2 of them for spares and sold the last one for naff all :( all I have left is the plaque from the first one I killed, 0062, stuck to my works computer screen to remind me of my heinous crimes!
do love a phase 1 though, mines a lovely thing...
looks lovely that @Mark Shaw
do you regret getting rid of your Williams? I've had 3 Williams and shouldn't of got rid of any of them, biggest car regret!
As @Daniel mentions it's all a matter of personal preference. Me I'd be looking for a mk1 16v or Williams not technically RS but from the before time. However both likely to appreciate and much more evocative than any of the later Renault and more usable than any of the earlier.
seen you pulling out at Hurt Arms few times and heading back to Belper from A610 way :) always thought looked like a nice motor, defo need to meet up for a pint and a spin out matey be good to look it over :) @Party Pete
lol, yep just down the road then! probably seen the pulsar, is it black, front mount and caged?
and as everyone else has said, @MicKPM for belts, he's in Long Eaton and knows his Renaults!
Welcome!
I'm Derbyshire based and got a few Clio's so if you need a hand let me know, more than willing to help in exchange for a blast out in the Pulsar ;-) mega cars those!
