yeah I can be of little help tbh as mine just worked due to transfer of everything from a literally just running car into mine.
electrics are a nightmare, hence that was why I used that method to avoid complications
I love the retro blue of the phase 1 interior, so old skool its now cool. imo actually looks more dated almost than a mk1 dash! lol!
obviously loose 20 bonus points for no tape deck but gain 50 extra for minidisc :tonguewink:

I've no experience of the FBW setup but in theory same as the phase 1 really, just smash all the wiring from donor car in and it should fire, however seems you have a different loom from car engine came in? as such could cause issue as believe there are phase differences. what you need is a full...
@scotiamr2t I've got no room to talk anyway, my clio history has some harrowing regrets in it!
and the current 1993 MK1 is a caged and stripped track car also..............oops!
i'd go some form of ATB diff, M factory or Quaife, fit and forget type for sure. Avoid Gripper if its a primarily road car as they are harsh and high maintenance

my wiring was alas very simple on my F4R MK1 as I just transplanted the lot from a phase 1 172. I didn't require anything in the dash really, no blowers, no heaters, no stereo nothing so as such didn't need to worry about how to wire those up. Few of the lads have done the splice job...
Cheers lads!
Superb aren't they @mintno1 ;-)
I'd of kept the stock one on Steve tbh but its so boomy it completely defeats object of having it, plus it's not in great nick! Ideally want a stealth sports not the unsilenced supersports but she'll do for now!
I agree, but for standard points...
